BLACK SNAKE TRAIL RACE
Sunday 2 June 2019 – see below for start times
35km / 26km / 12km
Due to Cairns Regional Council works on Lake Morris Road and the limited ability to access our usual start at Copperlode Dam, we have changed the START LOCATION of our 9th annual Black Snake.
All distances start at the junction of Clohesy River Road and Cedar Park Road and runners will be challenged with dirt roads, creeks and rainforests.
The 12k and 26k will be an ‘out and back’ course, however the 35k will be a loop with steep ascents, descents, ruts and challenging trails. All distances will visit the magnificant Clohesy River Fig Tree. We highly recommend checking out the course maps before registering for your distance. There is a cut off time (because no one likes to quit, but sitting under the power lines at the top of that last hill won’t get you home before dark).
